Vocation Chalice
About the chalice
The Chalice was donated by Sal & Paula Marino and had been used at the Parish since the dedication of the Church Sanctuary in 2003. Pope Saint John Paul II used the Chalice during Mass in his private chapel in the Vatican and it is now considered a relic—an item used by a saint.
What happens once I sign up for it?
You will be contacted the week before you receive the Chalice. When you are at Mass, Father will call you to the front and pray over your family and give you the Chalice. You are to take the box that the Chalice is kept in and also the bag containing some information and suggested prayers. Please help yourself to the Miraculous Medal in the bag.
You will return the Chalice after a week. You may give it to an usher or bring it to the office during office hours.
