Description: We prepare and/or serve food about once a month at the First Light shelter for women and their children. We also provide one Lenten supper and lunch for Greene County volunteers once a year. A Restock the Shelves drive is also conducted during Lent.
Description: Provide Home Repairs in Greene County (We work with the Guadeloupian Sisters and other Parishes to help the needy with home improvements.)
Qualifications: Skilled Craftsman to no skill required. We have professional craftsmen, folks whom just want to witness, and folks whom just help the Sisters.
Description: Provides food, clothing, furniture and financial assistance to those in needs in Shelby County and the greater Birmingham area. Clients are referred to Oak Mountain Mission by Domestic Violence Programs, homeless shelters, mission faith support churches and social service agents.
Description: This chalice, which is a relic of Saint Pope John Paul II, is taken to your home for a week. While you have the Chalice, you are asked to pray that Our Lord will inspire vocations to the priesthood and other religious life.
